I needed to skip ahead b/c I've already posted some pictures of this elsewhere and just wanted to bring on all the comments at once.
DON'T SCROLL DOWN TO THE PICTURE YET!
SERIOUSLY!!
YOU'LL RUIN THE SHOCK OF IT!!!
So, John's new company hosts a big Halloween party every year. It's always music themed. This year it was 80's Beat-Boxing. (Break-dancing.) Everyone was supposed to dress along those lines, or at least some kind of 80's pop music.
Ummm... yea. That's just not us. So we decided to branch out to other 80's music. After weeks of searching for the right costume ideas, I saw a comment somewhere about 80's goth-punk. That was it. The best costumes ever were born. You really need to click to see it larger.
So yes, we crashed their party. It was awesome. And honestly, we loved wearing these outfits. Both of us commented that our clothes the next day felt like our 'regular costumes'.
You know you want to borrow that wig.

I'm so proud!
Love, Mom Jo
I knew everything was cooler in Austin.
Those are sweet costumes. I am so proud of your makeup job too! And who knew that Jon could rock a tattoo like that?
Says something that those outfits wouldn't have been out of place amongst my circle of high school friends.
THAT IS SO AWESOME! Jeremy and I have been staring at your picture now for 5 minutes going over all of your costume. You guys totally "rocked" that costume. We were lauging out loud reading how you didn't like putting on your "real costumes" the next day. Way to go guys. You two win the prize for "best costume of the year!"
I saw this pic on facebook and had to get Dan to see it to believe it. Unbelievable! Well done. And kudos to the exercise.
