In the last week we've:
- Visited family in San Antonio
- Played lots with Grandma J
- Started swim lessons for Ethan
- Rearranged the ENTIRE house (The beds and most of the dressers are in the same places. Not much else.)
- Braved a fire-ant attack on Edward's feet that caused a major allergic reaction
- And added our first Epi-pen to the diaper bag for the next time the fire ants are too interesting to stay away from
Plus all the regular stuff. Thanks Grandma J for all the help!

We just discovered fire ants here in NC. What mean little buggers. They hurt so bad. So sorry to hear that Edward had an allergic reaction. Darn Fire ants
Scary about the allergic reaction. Fred's niece in Dallas has the same allergy - she was able to start shots for them when she was 3 and it has definitely lowered her parents' anxiety (come on, there's nowhere without fire ants in TX) - but the epi pen goes everywhere with her (her school teachers had to be trained to use it as the nurse is only there 1 day a week???!!!)
Yay Ethan - is he a little fish like his mom?
I forgot to mention that you're making me feel like a slacker! & I LOVE San Antonio.
Oh, fire ants. I have so many nasty memories about those from our 3 years in South Carolina! Makes you want to move back to Boston, yes?
Jen, most of the work was done by my mother-in-law. I couldn't do all of that and still manage to work 8 hours at the end of the day. And no, Ethan is no fish. He could be, if he would only get his face wet.
Megan, the fire ants are just one of many things that make me want to move back to Boston. They have moved up on the list, though.
