He's a Fish (almost)

As Ethan's first swim lesson started, he was a little nervous. After a few minutes he had a grip around my waist with his legs and around my neck with his arms. He wasn't crying, but he wasn't sure he liked it yet. Once we started a little bouncing around in the water, he loosened up a little. (I think it felt like when we dance around the house.) Then splashing with his hands was a big hit. And by the time we were doing sitting jumps from the wall, he was trying to swim away from me. He didn't want to leave when class was over.

So, all in all, it went well. And I got more snuggles in that 30min than I usually get in a week! We can't wait for next time!

I used to do Ben's swim lessons in the evening, put him in his jammies, and he would fall asleep in his carseat and sleep until morning.
